Application Tape for Sign Making

Application tape (also called transfer tape, premask) is essential to your successful sign application to substrates for sign making. We carry both regular paper based application tapes and clear plastic tape. The paper based tapes are easy to use, while the plastic clear tape is great for multi-color overlays.

AIP Application Tape medium tack (P/N AIP-P010)

This application tape is paper based, medium to low tack, easy to use. This is a Canadian made product with high quality.

R-Tape AT-60 Clear Choice Application Tape medium tack (FDC 2612 series; P/N AIP-P326)

FDC 2612 series (R-Tape AT-60 Clear Choice®) is a clear film with a medium tack adhesive. It has exceptional clarity to aid precise registration of multi-color overlays. Uses include registration of multi-color overlays, general purpose and wet applications.

Material: clear matte finish polypropylene Adhesive: Medium tack - Removable / Clear Acrylic; if the adhesive side of the film accidentally folds onto itself, it is easy to pull apart without delamination. Conforms to most surfaces Easy to unwind Roll Size: width 24", 20", 15", 12" and 8.5"; length 100 yards

R-Tape 4000 ApliTape Low Tack Application Tape (FDC 2602 series; P/N AIP-P327)

FDC Series 2602 is R-Tape 4000 ApliTape® application tape. This product is a standard weight paper with a low tack adhesive. Uses include: premask for large graphics, protection of metal surfaces, sign faces and digital prints. Can also be used for protection of Plexiglass, Formica, PETG, polycarbonate and other plastics.

Material: standard weight saturated paper Adhesive: very low tack natural rubber adhesive; easy, clean removal Conforms to most surfaces Roll Size: width 24", 15", 12" and 8"; length 50 yards

R-Tape 4075 ApliTape High Tack Application Tape (FDC 2600 series; P/N AIP-P330)

FDC Series 2600 is R Tape 4075 ApliTape® series application tape. This product is a standard weight paper with a high tack adhesive. Uses include: small to medium size lettering and graphics, hard to lift vinyls, and wet applications. Can also be used as general purpose transfer and pre-space tape.

Backing: standard weight latex saturated paper with high elongation, resistance to abrasion and moisture Adhesive: high tack natural rubber adhesive for achieving more consistent transfer, as well as permits longer time periods between application of tape and actual transfer Conforms to most surfaces Clean transfer for wet applications Roll Size: width 8.5", 12", 15", 20", 24", 30", 36" and 48"; length 100 yards
